The Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers updated their injury report ahead of their Week Four matchup at Lambeau Field. The home team enters as the betting favorite as the Steelers look to get back on track after a disappointing loss against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Packers started slowly with a Week One loss but have picked up back-to-back wins to move over .500 early this season.

Big names are featured on this week’s injury report for the Packers and Steelers as the game approaches, leading to league-wide intrigue as gameday approaches. Here is a look at the Wednesday injury report for each team as they prepare for the Sunday meeting.

Did not practice

Packers:

Krys Barnes, linebacker (Concussion)

Elgton Jenkins, offensive lineman (Ankle)

Kevin King, cornerback (Concussion)

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, wide receiver (Hamstring)

Steelers:

Carlos Davis, defensive tackle (Knee)

Chukwuma Okorafor, offensive lineman (Concussion)

Ben Roethlisberger, quarterback (Pectoral)

JuJu Smith-Schuster, wide receiver (Ribs)

Notes:

Both teams practiced without several starters on Wednesday as they recovered from a variety of injuries. Among the missing players for the Packers, offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins and wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling are the most impactful to keeping Aaron Rodgers happy. The Steelers missed big names on Wednesday, preparing for Week Four without Ben Roethlisberger and JuJu Smith-Schuster, along with starting lineman Chukwuma Okorafor.

Limited participants

Packers:

Aaron Jones, running back (Ankle)

Vernon Scott, safety (Hamstring)

Steelers:

Rashaad Coward, offensive lineman (Ankle)

Alex Highsmith, linebacker (Groin)

Diontae Johnson, wide receiver (Knee)

T.J. Watt, linebacker (Groin)

Notes:

The big names continue to show up on the injury report as several key members only took limited snaps at practice. Star Packers running back Aaron Jones was limited with an ankle injury, which could play a role in his work load this weekend. T.J. Watt, who recently signed a massive extension to stay with the Steelers, also missed parts of practice with a groin injury. In addition to Smith-Schuster missing practice, the Steelers only has Diontae Johnson for a limited portion of practice.

Full participants

Packers:

Josh Myers, offensive lineman (Finger)

Steelers:

N/A

Notes:

Only one player on the injury report was listed as a full participant. Josh Myers is a versatile offensive lineman who could become even more important to the Packers if Jenkins is unable to play. The hope for both teams will be to have more players transition into this column by the end of the week.
