Ahead of their Sunday matchup, the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots have provided their respective Thursday injury reports. While little movement is seen for the Pats, Green Bay has seen a bevy of movement from the previous report.

Unfortunately for the Packers, neither Jaire Alexander and David Bakhtiari practiced Thursday after being limited the day prior, the same goes for tight end Marcedes Lewis. Running back AJ Dillon, linebacker Jonathan Garvin and wide receiver Christian Watson were all full participants in Thursday’s practice, while offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins saw a limited role on the practice field after being held out on Wednesday.

For the Patriots, offensive lineman Yodny Cajuste was the only mover, dropping from a limited participant on Wednesday to not practicing at all Thursday.

Here is the full updated injury report for both teams.

Former Packers linebacker Clay Matthews officially announces NFL retirement after 11 seasons

Former Green Bay Packers outside linebacker Clay Matthews has officially made the decision to hang up his cleats and retire from the NFL, according to Brandon Carwile of The Packers Wire. The six-time Pro Bowler, Super Bowl champion and 2010 Defensive Player of the Year is now 36-years old and has not played since 2019.

Over 10 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Clay Matthews recorded 482 tackles, 83.5 sacks and three defensive touchdowns. After parting ways with the organization following the 2018 season, he added to his legacy with 37 tackles and eight sacks over one season with the Los Angeles Rams.

Matthews joined the NFL in 2009 when he was selected No. 26 overall out of USC. Prior to making a name for himself and continuing a family legacy at the professional level, he was part of a Trojans team which won three consecutive Rose Bowls from 2007-09.
