The Green Bay Packers have just released their injury report following Wednesday’s practice.

Did Not Practice

Elgton Jenkins, G (ankle)

There is no official word on what happened to the Packers starting left tackle, just that the injury occurred in Monday’s win against the Lions. He was able to play through the injury, but it appears that might not be the case going forward. If he’s unable to suit up for the Packers’ Sunday night game against the San Francisco 49ers, look for Yosh Nijman to take his place.

Limited Participants

Eric Stokes, CB (quad)

Vernon Scott, S (hamstring)

Tyler Lancaster, DL (back)

Josiah Deguara, TE (concussion)

Deguara is making his way back from concussion protocol. Although he was limited, it’s a good sign that he was able to practice with the team this week. Lancaster on the other hand was limited with a back injury. He has been dealing with this injury since before the season started. Rounding out the players limited in practice on Wednesday is a couple of secondary players in Scott and Stokes. Both are dealing with leg injuries that have lingered for quite some time as well.

Full Participants

Chandon Sullivan, CB (knee)

Darnell Savage, S (shoulder)

Josh Myers, C/G (finger)

Rashan Gary, LB (elbow)

These four are dealing with bumps and bruises but were able to go 100 percent in practice. Savage was listed on last week’s injury report as well and still started in Monday night’s game against the Detroit Lions. All of them appear to have recovered from this previous week’s setbacks.

The Packers are still recovering from the loss of two Pro Bowl-caliber players. They lost tackle David Bakhtiari last year in the playoffs. He is out recovering from ACL surgery he had in the off-season. The more recent loss was that of edge rusher Za’Darius Smith. Smith had been dealing with a back injury prior to the season opener against the Saints. Unfortunately for him, it appears that the injury has regressed and will require additional rest time for the edge rusher. With him being placed on the injured reserve list, he will miss at least three weeks of playing time. But if the injury lingers longer, he could be out for an extended period of time.

The Green Bay Packers had a total of eight players listed on Wednesday’s injury report. But as of now, it appears as if only guard Elgton Jenkins is in real danger of missing Sunday’s game.
