High majors watch '24 Rakease Passmore opening weekend
Rakease Passmore is currently unranked in On3’s 2024 class, but by all accounts, he took off – literally – in July.
Passmore is a 6-foot-5 wing at Lincolnton (NC) Combine Academy. He played on the 16u Adidas 3SSB Circuit this summer with the Garner Road program. To say Passmore is explosive may be an understatement.
Passmore had two viral moments this summer that opened eyes across the country. The first came in a game against the Indy Elite 16u team with Passmore dunking on five-star Flory Bidunga. The second viral moment had Passmore jumping over a player, clearly hurdling the defender in transition, at Tennessee team camp this summer.
On the opening weekend of the Fall live recruiting period, Georgia Tech and Louisville joined Tennessee in Passmore’s gym.

Passmore’s recruitment
Rakease Passmore came into the April Live Period with offers from NC A&T, Murray State, Western Carolina, and App State. Since April, the 6-foot-5 wing has added 15 offers. His most recent three are Oregon, Houston, and Georgia Tech.
