Pace Academy takes down Lake Oswego

2024 prospect Kyle Greene of Pace Academy was the best player on the floor for the first game of the day. He finished with 17 points on 7-of-11 from the field. He added 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and an astounding 9 steals. Greene holds early offers from Clemson, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, LSU, amongst others.

Green’s teammate, Bryson Tiller, oozes potential and is definitely someone to keep an eye on in the 2025 class. He holds early offers from Auburn and Georgia Tech.

DeMatha scrapes by with the win against St. Edwards in 4 OT

What a game for Xavier signee Tyrell Ward. The 6-foot-5 small forward finished with 34 points, shooting it 50% from the field. He also added 8 rebounds, 4 blocks, and two steals.

Ward plays both sides of the ball and is extremely versatile. He’s a good defender and can match up with almost anyone. He does a good job of scoring at the rim and grabbing boards.

Virginia Tech signee Rodney Rice finished with 20 points and five assists.

Montverde’s Dariq Whitehead and Malik Reneau continue to impress

Duke signee Dariq Whitehead and Florida signee Malik Reneau turned heads once again as they defeated Wasatch Academy. Whitehead finished with 21 points and Reneau with 14.

Perry’s Cody Williams has tremoundous upside

Cody Williams, a 6-foot-8 small forward out of Gilbert (Az.) Perry has so much upside. Williams is a great combination of length, athleticism, and energy. Despite his slender frame, he’s able to get to the basket effectively. He’s can also crash the boards and defends at a high level. I love how Williams always plays hard, on both sides of the ball, no matter the circumstance. He will need to add strength and muscle to continue his success into the college level. Williams finished with 25 points, nine rebounds, 3 steals, and two blocks.

I was also got my first look at 2025 prospect Koa Peat. Physically mature for his age, you’d never know he was a freshman. Peat is naturally gifted and very versatile. He does a little bit of everything. He can grab boards, push the ball in transition, hit the untested three, defend, block shots, and more. He holds early offers from Kansas, UCLA, Arizona State, Texas, Texas Tech, USC, and Washington.
