No. 2 Indiana beats No. 1 Ohio State to win Big Ten title
All roads in the Big Ten lead to Indianapolis, where Indiana and Ohio State meet with a conference title game on the line. For the Buckeyes, it is their first appearance in Indianapolis since 2020. Indiana’s last conference title win was in 1967.
Both programs are playing to lock up a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff. It’s an opportunity for Curt Cignetti and the Hoosiers to prove they are legitimate national title contenders this season.

Smith missed just one game before that with a lower-body injury. Tate, meanwhile, missed three games in November before his return against Michigan. Both caught a touchdown pass in the rivalry win.
