Plenty to discuss on the Hawkeye Report Podcast. This week we start with a long review of the signing day press conference, which ended up being much more about the future of Brian Ferentz than it was about the prospects that picked Iowa. We take look at what was said and what it might mean for the future of the program.

Then we discuss the players who are headed to Iowa City and what they can do for the program, along with the remaining needs for the Hawkeyes. After that, we discuss the Iowa basketball team and how they are catching fire at the right time. Then we dive into Kyle Huesmann’s beats with a long discussion of a huge women’s hoops game on Thursday against Maryland and we preview the start of the Iowa baseball season.
