The lights are bright on the West coast, and the stars often align such that the biggest stars are on the big stages. Could some recruiting of Bronny James mean he’s headed to the West coast?

The uncommitted McDonald’s All-American is showcasing his skills in front of the nation on Tuesday night during the McDonald’s All-American Game, all while some of his teammates try to get him to make a college decision.

USC signee Isaiah Collier, the nation’s top-rated player, admitted as much on the live broadcast.

“I mean it’s only one person uncommitted and y’all should know who that is, so we’re trying to make it happen,” Collier said.

With his recruiting still open, Bronnyy James has done a nice job bringing some hype to the McDonald’s All-American Game.

He participated in the annual dunk contest and while he didn’t win, he did leave some memorable dunks for the judges and the fans. And he started off the actual McDonald’s All-American Game with a bang, hitting a pair of 3-pointers that brought his dad, LeBron James, to celebration.

But where will Bronny actually end up?

That’s been tough to get a handle on, but USC is definitely one of the schools theoretically in contention for his services. Bronny told On3’s Joe Tipton that Ohio State, Oregon and USC were all options back on Jan. 20.

Ohio State is believed to be the favorite to land the mega-talented star.

The current Recruiting Prediction Machine has Bronny James projected to Ohio State with a 95.5% projection rate. It would be a massive get for the Buckeyes.

According to the On3 Industry Recruiting Ranking, James checks in as the No. 27 overall player in the class. He’s also ranked as the No. 5 combo guard in the class.

But On3 itself is actually substantially higher on James as a prospect than the rest of the industry. On3 has James as a five-star prospect and the No. 9 overall player in the country in his class.
