4-star IOL Isaiah Garcia announces top 10 schools
Magna (Utah) Cyprus four-star interior offensive lineman Isaiah Garcia has narrowed his list of schools down to 10. His list includes Alabama, Miami, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Utah and Washington.
Garcia is the No. 211 overall prospect and No. 12 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in Utah.
On3 rates Garcia higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, Garcia is the No. 197 overall prospect in the country, the No. 11 interior offensive lineman and the No. 1 player in Utah.
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), it’s two-school battle between USC and Oregon to land the pledge of the 6-foot-4, 269-pounder.
Those two schools are also the only teams they’ve locked in official visits with so far. He’ll visit USC on June and Oregon June 16. He also visited both in April as well.
“I’ve begun building a relationship with Coach Josh Henson and he seems like not only a great coach, but a great person,” Garcia recently told On3. “Building the relationship with my position coach is something I look for in a school and the relationship is definitely being built between me and Coach Henson.
“The academic programs the university offers are also something that really interests me as a student that wants to get a meaningful degree. USC also has a great reputation for producing and developing great players that get a chance at the league. Fight on!!”
As high as he is on the Trojans, Oregon has made just as much of an impact.
“My interest in Oregon right now is pretty high,” Garcia told Scoop Duck in February. “There are a lot of things about the program that I’m super intrigued by and excited to learn more about. Some of the things that stick out to me are the coaches’ personalities, the academic programs they offer and the school’s reputation for not only winning, but producing great offensive lineman in recent history.”
Garcia currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $64K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
