Tennessee came into the 2022 season with high expectations surrounding the team, especially given the offensive talent with players like Hendon Hooker, Cedric Tillman, and Jabari Small. To this point, the Volunteers have been able to live up to those expectations. Still, Tennessee has a long and difficult SEC schedule to go.

While speaking to the media, Jabari Small was asked about the gauntlet of a schedule that Tennessee is facing and if they enjoy playing a difficult schedule.

“I like to embrace it, yeah,” Jabari Small replied. “I think last year we had a pretty tough schedule, but that’s just how, you know, Tennessee is.”

“We play the best teams every year. Nothing is easy about our schedule. Nothing is easy about how we win. We have to earn everything. So, I’m very excited about it. It’s a challenge.”

Next up for Tennessee is LSU. It will be their third game against an AP Top-25 team. After that, Tennessee still has to play teams like Alabama, Kentucky, and Georgia.

Jabari Small was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2020. On the season, Small is averaging 4.2 yards per carry and has four touchdowns on the ground. He has dealt with an injury in the early part of the season.

Tennessee unveiled uniforms for Saturday

Tennessee unveiled uniforms for the Volunteers’ game against LSU. With a team like Tennessee, which typically wears a very traditional uniform, there usually isn’t much of a surprise to what the Volunteers are going to be wearing.

That’s not the case this Saturday, though, as Tennessee is going to be rocking their smoky gray alternate uniforms. You can see the uniforms here.
