Jaiden Glover made his debut in the 2024 On3 150 at No. 100. The 6-foot-6 wing averaged 22.0 points and 6.5 rebounds, shooting 45.0 percent from three at the prestigious City of Palms Classic.

“I’m an athletic wing that shoots very well and can create my own shot,” Glover told On3. “I try to take from Devin Booker and Jayson Tatum. I watch Booker’s off-the-ball movement to get open, and I try to take Tatum’s footwork and sidesteps.”

On3 caught up with Jaiden Glover to talk about his recruitment and where things currently stand.

Glover talks recruitment

“I’ve taken unofficials to Rhode island and St. John’s,” Glover said. “

Rhode Island: “The most memorable part of the visit for me was him showing the way that they play and showing plays they have. They showed me how I fit in with their team. My relationship with Coach (Archie) Miller is good; we talk from time to time, and we have good productive conversations

St. John’s: “That was a good visit. They were the first to offer since I was a freshman, and I liked how they had me watch their practice and the tempo they play at.”

New offers

“I’d say St. John’s, Illinois, Maryland, and Villanova because they have been the most recent to reach out, are schools sticking out right now,” Glover said.

Villanova: “Coach DA (Dwayne Anderson) from Villanova offered me. He said that my scoring and my shooting are some things that stand out to them. I haven’t been able to watch a lot of Villanova games, but from what I did watch, it seems that they are a guard-oriented team, and that’s one of the things I’m looking for.”

Illinois: “Illinois is in constant contact with me. My relationship with Coach Chester Frazier is great, and I fit because they are a team who allows their scorers to go free and a lot of shooting which is my specialty.”

Maryland: “Coach Kevin Willard and Coach Tony Skinn are in contact with me. They said that they have been following me for a little while now. They say they like my game, like my ability to shoot the ball and flat-out score it.”

In Glover’s words

“I don’t have any visits scheduled yet,” Glover said. “But I’m looking to see some campuses in March and start taking some official visits this Spring before AAU starts.

“Honestly, the type of coach doesn’t matter as long he understands and lets his team play through their mistakes; they can be a hard coach or a more moderate coach. There’s nothing in particular that I am looking for in a school besides obviously having my major. I want to major in Business.

Having a city is a plus, too, because I’m a city guy and love the city. But I’m open to anything as long as I can thrive in that system. I’m looking for up tempo kind of team that allows freedom offensively.”
