Playing for Drive Nation on the Nike EYBL circuit, Jamyron Keller has been boosting his stock heading into his senior high school season. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound point guard suits up alongside five-star teammate Ron Holland, and the two have formed a bond off the court that translates onto it.

This past weekend, Keller and his Drive Nation squad were in Louisville, KY, for the third EYBL session of the year. It was an up-and-down five-game stretch for the program, which finished 3-2 and is now 14-8 on the circuit. But individually, Keller was impressive as the third fiddle behind Holland and Liam McKneely, a quickly-rising class of 2024 wing.

Playing next to those two — specifically a big body in Holland — helps make his life easier. Keller is figuring out to thrive alongside them as the AAU season toils along.

“Most definitely,” Keller said when asked if playing with Holland is a blessing. “Because guys have to pay closer attention to him because he’s so versatile, he can do it all. It kinda frees up — makes my job as a point guard very easy.”

Through five games in Louisville, Keller finished with per-game averages of 11.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 55.6 percent from the floor and 43.8 percent from distance on 16 total attempts. He was tabbed to the “All Breakout Team” from the third session by The Circuit. He’s not the flashiest player on the court — or his team, for that matter. But Keller is sound in his approach and knows how to see the floor.

“A guy that controls the offense controls the game flow,” Keller said of his playstyle. “Guard the best player, hit open shots, just a guy that can create for others also. I think I can do a little bit of everything.”

Throughout the first two EYBL sessions of the spring in Orlando and Indianapolis, Keller was steady for Drive Nation. In April and May, he earned offers from Toledo, St. Louis, Stephen F. Austin, and North Texas. But his recruitment took a turn for the better when he received his first Power 5 offer from Kansas State on May 25.

Since then, Keller said his recruitment has been picking up some serious steam. The Wildcats have his full attention, too.

“Just the coaches,” Keller said about what he likes about Kansas State. “(Head) coach (Jerome) Tang, he has a good foundation, I can tell. He used to be a youth pastor, so knowing that and knowing that he’s not no regular coach that doesn’t care about his players is really standing out to me right now.”

Jamyron Keller added that he has official visits scheduled in June to see Xavier, Stephen F. Austin, and St. John’s. Only SFA has offered so far of those three. But that being said, Keller is coming off what was easily his best stretch of AAU ball this season. He went from shooting over 50 percent from the floor just twice through the first eight EYBL games to doing so in all five games in Louisville.
