Justice Haynes injury update: Latest on Michigan RB

Michigan running back Justice Haynes is out Saturday against Purdue, sources tell On3. It’s unclear what the timetable is for the Alabama transfer’s return.
In last week’s 31-20 win over Michigan State, Haynes rushed for 152 yards on 26 carries and two touchdowns. But Haynes came up gimpy in the second half after a fumble.
Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore was asked about Justice Haynes’ status on his radio show earlier this week and didn’t have much of an update, but did seem to indicate that he is indeed injured.
“Yeah, we’ll see,” Moore said when asked if he expects Haynes to play in Michigan’s game against Purdue Saturday. “We’ll see what he looks like as he goes through the week.”

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound running back missed the previous six quarters with an injury to his abdominal / rib area. Marshall iced the game with a 56-yard touchdown run to make it 31-13.
