The regular season is in the books, and now it is time for postseason college basketball. This week, conference tournaments will take place across the country ahead of Selection Sunday. With a few teams on the bubble, the Big Ten Tournament could have major implications on the NCAA Tournament picture.

There are a few teams that are still simply fighting for seeding in the NCAA Tournament, too. Wisconsin, Illinois, and Purdue all figure to have prominent seeding, and a strong run in this week’s tournament could pay dividends for them on Selection Sunday.

After Wisconsin lost to Nebraska on Sunday, Illinois finished as the top seed in the Big Ten. Wisconsin is the two seed, while Purdue is third and Rutgers is fourth. Big Ten Tournament play will begin on Wednesday, with Nebraska taking on Northwestern and Minnesota facing Penn State.
