Logan Bonner, Utah State QB: NIL U Player of the Week
Coming off a Mountain West Championship this past weekend, junior quarterback Logan Bonner is the NIL U Player of the Week. Completing 29 passes on 42 attempts for 318 yards and 4 touchdowns helped guide Utah State to a 46-13 win over San Diego State on Saturday. Bonner, who transferred from Arkansas State this past year, has had a standout season. Throwing for 3,560 yards so far this year, which is ranked 12th nationally, and adding 36 touchdowns, tied for 6th nationally, led the Aggies to a conference championship appearance.
The Rowlett, TX quarterback has been active on the NIL front since July. In year one of this new era of college sports, Bonner has a deal with his credit union located in Utah, Deseret First Credit Union. Along with this deal, he has partnered with Oncoor Marketing which has helped Logan launch an exclusive personalized merchandise line available for purchase. It includes custom shirts with designs such as “Cowboy Bonner” and “Sling It Like Bonner”. A portion of the proceeds made will be used to support The Family Place Utah which is located in Cache Valley.
