New Orleans (La.) Isidore Newman Five-Star Plus quarterback Arch Manning faced off against one of the best player’s in the state Friday in Many (La.) four-star linebacker Tackett Curtis.

Manning, the Texas commit, flashed the Hook ‘Em sign while the USC verbal Curtis put up the Fight On peace sign.

“They’ve got a bunch of good players. They’re well-coached,” Manning said postgame of his opponents. “I think we came out flat after a five-hour bus ride. We got it together a little bit, but not enough to get it done tonight.”

Curtis is the No. 99 overall prospect and No. 8 linebacker in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Manning is the No. 1 prospect in three of the four major media recruiting companies 2023 rankings, including the 2023 On300 ranking. He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $3.4 million. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
