Louisville lands a commitment from LB Cameron White
Michigan was an option. He was at one time committed to UCF. He took his time and Seffner (Fla.) Armwood linebacker Cameron White feels best about Louisville and he has committed to the Cardinals.
“Louisville offered me my sophomore year, and from the beginning, they have worked hard to make me feel like a priority,” White told On3. “When I made my decision and locked in with Louisville earlier this week, coach Mark Ivey was relieved. He was excited. He put a lot of work into recruiting me, so when we I committed, it was a great moment.”
White’s last visit was to Ann Arbor for the Oregon game. The Wolverines gave him a lot to think about, but three-star was familiar with Louisville and Jeff Brohm‘s program had what he was looking for.
“My last visit was my official visit in the summer, but I have been there four or five times. Every time I am there, it feels like home. I get along with the coaches, the staff and the players too. I just enjoy my time there. At Louisville, I am comfortable in the environment and I love the energy.”

Coach Ivey was a big part of bringing this commitment home. He started recruiting the 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker a couple of years ago and he closed the deal this week.
“Coach Ivey always made me feel important,” White said. “That was big for me. He will do a great job developing me into a better linebacker, player and person. I trust coach Ivey and the staff to take care of me and develop me.”
