LSU WR Kylan Billiot plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal
Much has happened in the past few days down in Baton Rouge, with nothing more notable than Lane Kiffin becoming the next head coach of the Tigers. However, as far as the roster, LSU saw its first departure in the portal on Sunday evening.
WR Kylan Billiot plans to enter his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal. That comes per reporting this evening, after speaking with his representation, by On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
“BREAKING: LSU WR Kylan Billiot plans to enter the @TransferPortal, per his agency @SetVisionMgmt,” posted Fawcett.
Billiot spent two seasons in Baton Rouge. He didn’t play last year and redshirted, and since appeared in one game this fall, with no statistics recorded, for the Tigers.

An in-state player out of Houma, Billiot played his high school football at Terrebonne. He ranked as the No. 101 overall recruit and a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle. He also rated as a Top-25 WR in the class and as the No. 4 player out of the state of Louisiana, with him behind three other signees for the program in DL Dominick McKinley, TE Trey’Dez Green, and DB Dashawn Spears. That’s according to the Rivals’ Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. That made him the fifth highest-ranked signee for the program in the No. 7 class per Rivals’ 2024 Industry Team Recruiting Ranking.
LSU has much to look forward to as a new tenure begins, and a new roster comes in with it for next season, under Kiffin. Billiot, though, looks to not be a part of those plans, being the first known transfer departure from the program since the end of the season yesterday afternoon, as the former in-state prospect plans on entering his name into the portal once the window opens on January 2nd.
