Scouting for the NFL Draft never stops. It’s much like college football recruiting — it’s a nonstop process.

One of the most anticipated games of this year’s college football slate is when the No. 3 Clemson square off against No. 5 Georgia on Saturday.

NFL scouts will be dialed into the game as it will be loaded with NFL talent across the board. Who are some future pro prospects to watch in the game?

ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. gave fans a breakdown. Who should fans keep their eyes on?

“Tremendous evaluation game for NFL scouts. You have a situation with D.J. Uiagalelei at quarterback for Clemson, could be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, having to deal with Jordan Davis, defensive tackle on the interior of that Georgia defensive front who’s primed for a huge year,” Kiper. said. “And off the edge will be Adam Anderson, great pass rusher who flies off the edge for Georgia. It’ll be fun to watch that. You have Derion Kendrick, formerly of Clemson, now at Georgia, matching up across from Justyn Ross, wide receiver, Clemson, coming back from injury. That’s gonna be a fun matchup. Andrew Booth, Jr., the corner at Clemson, has a chance to be really good.

“I’m gonna watch him closely. And remember George Pickens, wide receiver [Georgia]…injured. Out until later in the year at best.”

There’s no question the Georgia-Clemson game will be one of the most watched games of the college football season not only by NFL scouts, but college football fans across the country.

It’s going to be some of the best football of the year with some of the best athletes and NFL Draft prospects.

Next Clemson star quarterback

A former five-star prospect, D.J. Uiagalelei was one of the top rated quarterbacks in America coming out of high school. He played at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower, California. Prepstar listed him as the top player in the nation. He was high school teammates with fellow five-star recruit, Bryan Bresee, a linebacker for the Tigers. Uiagalelei was named a USA Today All-American after leading his team to a No. 1 ranking by MaxPreps and USA Today.

Georgia’s defensive line

Georgia’s defensive line is expected to be one of the best units in college football and SEC Network’s Gene Chizik thinks they have the best defensive line in the SEC. Here’s what he had to say about the Bulldogs defensive line unit a few weeks ago.

Georgia, man. Start in the middle of the defense. You’ve got Jordan Davis. He’s 6-foot-5. They say he’s 340 [pounds]. He’s gotta be 360 [pounds]. This guy is a straight MAN,” Chizik said. “But you know what, it’s not just him. Julian Rochester decided to come back. Devonte Wyatt decided to come back. Travon WalkerJalen Carter, who was a five-star guy. They expect him to come on. But what this defensive line is–athletic. They’re large, they can run, and you can move them up and down the line of scrimmage. They can play several different positions–best in the league.”

Georgia and Clemson are set to square off on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. EST. The game will be nationally televised on ABC.
