Michigan got the win they wanted this season by going to Columbus and defeating Ohio State 45-23. It earned the Wolverines a spot in the Big Ten Championship and all but sealed their inclusion in the College Football Playoff. At the end of the day, though, this was a rivalry win first and foremost and, as such, the Wolverine’s social media team did not hold back.

Michigan tweeted out this video trolling the Buckeyes with several highlights from their second straight victory in The Game. If the loss wasn’t embarrassing enough, this clip just pours all kinds of extra salt into the wound.

However, it wasn’t the Buckeyes who shot back at Michigan for the video. It was fellow playoff contender TCU who says they’ve coined this style of video to mock their opponents all season long. In response, the Horned Frogs tweeted several of their own responses and retweeted others that all called out Michigan for the infringement.

As we wind down the season, teams are getting as competitive as ever on the field. We just didn’t know that their social media teams would be getting after it as well. It’s not much but, considering this could very possibly be a matchup we see in the playoff, fireworks could come from these accounts depending on how their programs finish the year.
