Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial offensive tackle Brady Bakke received his first offer from Northern Arizona on March 8. Weber State then offered him four days later.

Those are not the only schools involved in Bakke’s recruitment, however. He is also speaking with coaches from Arizona, Arizona State and Washington.

“I really just want to find a place I like and where I want to be,” Bakke told On3.

Location may end up playing a role in Bakke’s decision. He is currently feeling a lot of attention from in-state schools.

Northern Arizona talks with him often, while he also communicates with Arizona and Arizona State. His main contact with the Sun Devils is special teams coordinator/assistant head coach Charlie Ragle.

“It’s awesome,” Bakke said about being recruited by multiple Arizona programs. “I personally want to stay home and help build up the programs that are here and beat teams that are outside of the state and be competitive.”

The 6-foot-6, 290-pound recruit took game visits to Arizona, Arizona State and Northern Arizona this season. The environment in Flagstaff stands out to him.

“NAU, their location’s awesome,” Bakke said. “The temperature, just how cold it is up there.”

Bakke discusses Arizona State, Arizona and Washington

Regarding Arizona, Bakke called the Wildcats’ atmosphere “awesome.” He also likes their players and how supportive the coaching staff is.

Meanwhile, many of Bakke’s family members have attended Arizona State. As a result, the Sun Devils are high on the list of schools he hopes to receive an offer from.

“ASU, for me personally, I feel like they’re gonna be super good here soon,” Bakke said. “They’re doing a great job building up from the foundations.”

“Same thing with U of A, they’ve brought in great recruits the past two years and they’re really on the rise,” he added.

Bakke hopes to visit Arizona, Arizona State and Northern Arizona this spring. He would love the opportunity to help an Arizona school “build their foundation.”

Another thing about Arizona State that impresses Bakke is head coach Kenny Dillingham. He has already spoken with the Sun Devils’ head man.

“It’s awesome having someone with the same kind of experience that I’m going through, with him going there and knowing a legacy,” Bakke said.

Meanwhile, Washington has recently entered Bakke’s recruitment. He talks with offensive line coach Scott Huff.

“They have a great offense there and they’ve done a great job scheming teams up,” Bakke said. “Also, their energy and their location there is awesome. They’re on the lake.”
