With this past weekend come and gone, college football saw its last one of the regular season. Now, with conference title games ahead on Saturday, we’re less than a week away from knowing who’ll have the chance to win a national championship in the College Football Playoff.

Those at BetMGM have updated those national title odds for who could win the CFP. It saw some changes of note in the top-five or six, with only fifteen teams still having odds to win it all now at better than (+2000).

Here are those updated odds for who could win the playoff from over at BetMGM:

Ohio State Buckeyes (+175)

By winning The Game for the first time since 2019 in a 27-9 victory over Michigan in Ann Arbor, Ohio State finished the regular season with an undefeated record at 12-0. That only improved their odds to (+175), up just a bit from (+185), as the favorite to win the national title in the College Football Playoff.

The Buckeyes will play in the Big Ten Championship on Saturday against Indiana. And, with that, the winner of that one in Indianapolis is likely to be the No. 1 overall seed, and likely will have the best odds after that to win it all, in the CFP.

Indiana Hoosiers (+450)

Speaking of IU, Indiana is second-best in the odds at BetMGM as to who will win the playoff, with them improving to (+450) up from (+500). That’s after they too won their rivalry game, with a 56-3 blowout of Purdue, to be the other team that finished undefeated this season at 12-0.

The Hoosiers will now face the Buckeyes this weekend in Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship, with only one of them having the chance to leave that game at 13-0. Again as well, that winner will likely then enter the field as the No. 1 seed, with maybe the top odds to win it, in the College Football Playoff.

Georgia Bulldogs (+900)

Georgia now is in a tie for the third-best odds overall, and has the best odds to win the national title from the teams in the SEC, at (+900) and as they’re up from (+1000). That’s after UGA finished the regular season at 11-1 following a 16-9 victory over Georgia Tech in Atlanta on Friday.

The Bulldogs had already wrapped up their conference play two weeks ago, with it resulting in a berth for them now in the SEC Championship on Saturday. They’ll now have that chance to avenge their lone loss of the season to Alabama, with the ‘Dawgs having a chance to solidify a bye, with a great chance to win another national title, in the CFP.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish (+900)

Notre Dame accomplished what they needed to, winning each of their final ten games after losing their first two, to give themselves a chance to be in the College Football Playoff. That tenth victory came in a 49-20 outcome over Stanford on Saturday.

The Fighting Irish have since seen their odds improve up from (+1100) to being tied with the third-best chance at (+900). They, though, as an independent with no game left to play in at a final record of 10-2, now just have to sit and wait for the selection of the CFP.

Texas A&M Aggies (+1000)

Texas A&M was among the final three teams to still be undefeated before losing their first game of the season on Friday in a 27-17 defeat to Texas. That took the Aggies, now at 11-1, down from the third-best odds at (+700) to being fifth overall in odds to win the national title at (+1000).

The loss to the Longhorns also cost A&M a chance to play in the SEC Championship on Saturday. So, their next chance to redeem themselves won’t be until the playoff, with the Aggies waiting to see where they’ll now be seeded in the CFP.

Texas Tech Red Raiders (+1200)

Texas Tech has been among the most dominant teams in the sport this season, as they got to 11-1. They did so after a 49-0 win in their finale over West Virginia, with that now having them in the Big 12 Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Raiders would likely be in the playoff still regardless of what happens this weekend in Arlington, where they’ll play a rematch against BYU after beating them by 22 earlier in November. Their odds to win the national title, though, currently still stand among the best of those who could be in the CFP, with them up from (+1400) to (+1200) now.

Alabama Crimson Tide (+1500)

Alabama avoided a loss that would’ve cost them a playoff spot as they went and won the Iron Bowl at 27-20 over Auburn inside Jordan-Hare. That moved the Crimson Tide to 10-2, likely kept them in the field for the CFP, and clinched their spot in the SEC Championship.

‘Bama will have to see where they stand in the eyes of the selection committee tomorrow night, and what that means for their chances after this weekend when they play against the Bulldogs in Atlanta. That in mind, BetMGM did not move their title odds from last week, as the Tide remain at (+1500).

Oregon Ducks (+1500)

Oregon also did not see their title odds move any at BetMGM, as they remain at (+1500). That’s after finishing the season at 11-1 following a 26-14 road win over Washington in the Cascade Clash.

Being in uncertain standing earlier in the rankings, the Ducks have certainly locked themselves up a spot in the College Football Playoff. It’s now just a matter of what their path to contending for a national title will look like once the field is selected on Sunday.

Ole Miss Rebels (+2000)

Needless to say, a lot has changed the past four days in Oxford since Ole Miss won the Egg Bowl at 38-19 over Mississippi State as the Rebels finished at 11-1. However, one thing that didn’t change was their odds to win the national title, as BetMGM kept them at (+2000).

In reality, Ole Miss may have seen their title chances take a hit as they make a head coaching change from Lane Kiffin, who left yesterday for LSU, to Pete Golding. Don’t tell the Rebels that, though, as, nonetheless, they’ll be seeded somewhere this weekend to play for it all in the College Football Playoff.

Oklahoma Sooners (+4000)

Oklahoma won at 17-13 over LSU on Saturday to finish at 10-2, which likely solidified their spot for the CFP. However, OU saw their odds slide significantly coming out of the regular season over at BetMGM, as they went down from (+2500) to (+4000)

That may be in part to how they’re winning their games of late, based a lot on their defense and special teams with offensive struggles, in Norman. Regardless, though, the Sooners won them and, with that record, should have some chance at winning a title in the College Football Playoff.

Miami Hurricanes (+8000)
Utah Utes (+8000)
Vanderbilt Commodores (+10000)
Texas Longhorns (+10000)
BYU Cougars (+20000)
