NC State and West Virginia both extended offers Tuesday to Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis.

The On3 Consensus — a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies — has Davis as the No. 1 overall prospect in the 2024 class.

On3 does not rank high school sophomores during their fall seasons but does hand out grades. Davis is one of 18 players who received a grade of 91 out of 100 in the initial On3 Watchlist for the class.

The only other quarterback to receive a grade of 91 was Dylan Raiola.

Jadyn Davis has an On3 NIL Valuation of $70,000, which ranks 19th among high school football players. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Davis recently transferred to Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School from Catawba Ridge (S.C.) High over winter break.

The Mountaineers and Wolfpack already have quarterback commits in both the 2022 and 2023 recruiting class.

Chandler (Ariz.) Hamilton four-star quarterback Nicco Marchiol is West Virginia’s 2022 recruit at the position and Duncan (S.C.) Spartanburg three-star quarterback Raheim Jeter is the signal caller in the 2023 class.

Atlanta Pace Academy three-star quarterback MJ Morris is NC State’s 2022 signal caller and Wake Forest (N.C) Heritage three-star quarterback Lex Thomas fills the role in the 2023 group.
