This college basketball season has been filled with upsets, and the last week was no exception. After 16 AP-ranked teams lost on the week, a new Coaches Poll Top 25 has been revealed and it features a ton of movement throughout the rankings.

Last week’s AP top ten mostly made it through the week, with six of those teams escaping with zero losses. Four top ten teams lost exactly once, though. No. 1 Purdue went 2-1 on the week with wins over No. 24 Ohio State and Penn State and a loss against Rutgers. No. 4 UConn went 1-1 with a win over Creighton and a loss to Providence. No. 5 Arizona defeated Washington but lost against Washington State to also go 1-1. No. 6 Texas also went 1-1, beating Oklahoma State but falling to Kansas State.

Overall, 12 ranked teams picked up exactly one loss over the last week. Additionally, four teams lost twice. All four of those teams – No. 15 Indiana, No. 19 Baylor, No. 21 New Mexico and No. 24 Ohio State – went winless on the week as they finished this stretch 0-2.

With 16 ranked teams picking up at least one loss over the last week, the rankings have surely seen some interesting changes. New teams have entered this week’s Coaches Poll Top 25, while teams who remained ranked have seen their status significantly shaken up.
