NFL star and two-time Super Bowl champion Von Miller decided to have some fun at the expense of Micah Parsons and Dallas Cowboys fans everywhere on Friday. He went onto Instagram to let people know he almost joined forces with his friend but instead opted to sign with the Buffalo Bills on a six-year, $120 million deal.

Taking his thoughts to his Instagram Story, Von Miller tagged Micah Parsons and said joked about his free agency decision with a picture of the two posing at AT&T Stadium. “Damn (Micah Parsons) it almost happened,” his message read.

Miller became a free agent this offseason after winning the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. Prior to a midseason trade, the former Texas A&M star and Texas native had spent his entire professional career with the Denver Broncos, claiming another Super Bowl there.

Despite turning 33, Miller had a long list of suiters. Those most often linked to him included the Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams, all looking to win a Super Bowl in 2023.

More about Von Miller

Despite Micah Parsons’ best attempts to recruit Von Miller this offseason, the veteran now helps bring more attention to the Bills as a potential Super Bowl contender. Now looking for his third trophy with three teams, Miller can put himself in elite company.

With Denver and Los Angeles in 2021, Miller totaled 50 tackles and 9.5 sacks. In 150 games in his career, he has 540 total tackles, 115.5 sacks and two interceptions en route to eight Pro Bowls and two Super Bowl rings with both teams.

Now, he’s heading to Buffalo to team up with Frazier and a Bills defense that ranked No. 1 in the NFL in total defense in 2021, holding teams to 4,637 total yards and totaled 42 sacks, which ranked No. 11 in the league.
