The NFLPA decided to release an All-Pro Team, as voted on by the players themselves.

This is the inaugural season that the players have voted on an All-Pro team. The idea behind the vote is that nobody is going to know the game and the players better than those who play it. So, it should have some impact that random media or fan votes wouldn’t have.

Whether or not the Player’s All-Pro Team, as voted on by the NFLPA catches on or even continues past this season, remains to be seen.

The 2022-23 Player’s All-Pro Team

Here is the All-Pro Team released by the NFLPA, as voted on by the players:

Offense

Defense

Special Teams

The NFLPA’s All-Pro Team is broken down into three units; offense, defense, and special teams. The majority of positions have one player who was voted into that spot. However, there are a couple of positions, like wide receiver and cornerback, with two players voted in. In each case where there were two players for one position, a spot was given to each conference.

Two teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, led the way with four players selected each. There is a good chance that is a preview of the Super Bowl this season.
