FanDuel Sportsbook has released the point spreads for eight of the biggest games of the upcoming college football season.

Among them include Steve Sarkisian taking the Texas Longhorns to Tuscaloosa for a rematch with the Alabama Crimson Tide, and and Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes heading to Texas to face the TCU Horned Frogs.

Additionally, some huge inter-conference showdowns will happen of course, like the Georgia Bulldogs facing the Tennessee Volunteers and the Ohio State Buckeyes traveling to take on the Michigan Wolverines. FanDuel has us covered with the opening odds for the showdowns.

The point spreads can be found below, and there are some surprising early numbers from Las Vegas.

Odds, point spreads for 8 marquee 2023 CFB games, per FanDuel Sportsbook:

Colorado Buffaloes at TCU Horned Frogs (-17) | Sep. 2, Noon ET

LSU Tigers vs. Florida State Seminoles (-1) | Sep. 3, 8:00 p.m. ET

Texas Longhorns at Alabama Crimson Tide (-8.5) | Sep. 9, 12:00 p.m. ET

Tennessee Volunteers at Florida Gators (+7) | Sep. 16, 3:30 p.m. ET

Ohio State Buckeyes at Notre Dame Fighting Irish (+7.5) | Sep. 23, 7:30 p.m. ET

Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma Sooners (+3.5) | Oct. 7, Noon ET

Georgia Bulldogs at Tennessee Volunteers (+7) | Nov. 18, 3:30 p.m. ET

Ohio State Buckeyes at Michigan Wolverines (-1) | Nov. 25, Noon ET

Of course, it’s easy to see why Sanders’ squad would be heavy underdogs against the runner-ups from last season, but it would be a huge statement if the Buffaloes can come out and be victorious. Meanwhile, the Longhorns find themselves as touchdown-plus underdogs in Tuscaloosa, one season after coming close to beating Nick Saban’s team.

As for the conference showdowns, it’s believed most will be close at the moment, with Georgia as the exception as a seven-point favorite over Tennessee. Can’t blame Vegas for being confident in the reigning champions.

Nevertheless, the point spreads will undergo severe changes moving forward, as these are just the opening lines. Still, it’s fascinating to see where the house believes each team stands at the moment.
