As a free agent since last offseason, Odell Beckham Jr. is still waiting to make the right deal now that he’s recovered from his ACL tear. On Saturday, Beckham released a new hype video, essentially a workout montage, to serve as a public update on his health status.

The Super Bowl champ has shared other, shorter clips of his workouts this offseason, but this new, almost two-minute-long video has a lot more fanfare.

Also heavily featured in the video is Beckham’s young son, Zydn. The LSU alum welcomed the baby last February after winning the Super Bowl with the Rams.

Cowboys still interested in Beckham

Beckham almost signed with the Dallas Cowboys ahead of the playoffs. He even took a very public visit to DFW. However, the team either decided the former Giants receiver wouldn’t be able to contribute significantly, or his price tag was too high – perhaps both. ultimately, signed former Colts veteran T.Y. Hilton instead.

Hilton ended the season with 10 catches on 15 targets for 159 yards and no scores in five games played.

Dallas executive vice president Stephen Jones told reporters at the Senior Bowl that the team is still interested in his services.

“Oh, absolutely,” Jones said. “We brought Odell Beckham Jr. in for a visit. Decided he wasn’t ready to play… that’s the way we left it with him. Get ready to play, and then let’s revisit. We obviously had an interest for a reason.”

During an appearance on SportsCenter, CeeDee Lamb shared his thoughts on the possible addition of Odell Beckham Jr.

“We know what [Beckham] brings to the table,” Lamb said. “Understanding that he’s a free agent, we need all the help we can, as far as making big plays and doing what we got to do offensively.”

In 2021, with the Rams, Beckham had 305 yards on 27 catches with five touchdowns in eight games played. Prior to his trade, he also had 232 yards on 17 catches for the Browns.

Along with Dallas, the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills are also interested in Beckham for the 2023 season.
