Ole Miss wins Egg Bowl 38-19
One of the most heated rivalries in college football returns on Black Friday: the Egg Bowl. Ole Miss enters the Friday afternoon matchup with a 10-1 record and a win away from sealing a College Football Playoff berth. Mississippi State has the chance to play the upset role.
Outside of the actual game, all the attention is on Lane Kiffin. The Ole Miss head coach is expected to announce a decision Saturday on his future after being pursued heavily by Florida and LSU. The Rebels are also very much in the mix to retain their coach.
Friday’s game kicks off at noon ET on ABC. On3’s live blog will track the Egg Bowl matchup with live updates, analysis and instant reaction. Follow along for the latest on Ole Miss at Mississippi State.

“Well, we just trying to play clean football, man. We try to execute and play really good football. For a whole sideline to try to fight and leave their whole sideline, including their athletic director? I just didn’t like it. So, I’m just reminding them, like, we’re trying to play football here. We’re not trying to start a fight so our university can get credit for fighting people.
“We’re good,” Kiffin said, when asked if he needed to address the fighting with his own team. “Our guys stayed on the sideline like they’re supposed to.”
