Week 2 action across college football gave the league’s elite players opportunities to put on heroic performances. While some rose to the occasion, others let the moment slip.

Following the latest games, the On3 Impact 300 has been re-analyzed and re-ranked to provide the best picture of the top players across the country. The On3 Impact 300 rankings also factor into the calculations for the On3 NIL Valuation.

After a gutsy performance in the fourth quarter by reigning Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young to give the Alabama Crimson Tide a must-have one-point victory over Texas, the quarterback has moved into the top position in the On3 Impact 300.

Meanwhile, Young’s teammate Will Anderson slipped from No. 1 overall down to No. 17 after three costly penalties contributed to the Tide’s generally sloppy performance on Saturday. Anderson still left an impact when it mattered with a fourth-quarter sack, and finished the game with five total tackles.

While some players took hits after Week 2, Michigan State edge Jacoby Windmon made a name for himself and rose from No. 18 to No. 3 in the rankings. In Week 1, he had seven tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble. He added another 1.5 sacks and three forced fumbles with a recovery against Akron.

West Virginia wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheaton made one of the biggest jumps from last week to this week. With 249 receiving yards and four touchdowns, Ford-Wheaton is currently producing at an elite level for the Mountaineers.

Check out the new top 25 of the On3 Impact 300 going into Week 3 of the college football season.
