Any Louisville fans in Southern California who stopped by to watch Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star quarterback Pierce Clarkson play Friday would have been rewarded with a treat.

Coming off a first-round bye, the future Cardinals quarterback put in an amazing performance in a 49-14 victory over Orange (Calif.) Orange Lutheran.

He threw for 301 yards and five touchdowns to go with another 60 yards and a score on the ground. Two of those touchdown passes went to five-star Matayo Uiagalelei.

Clarkson is the No. 245 overall recruit and No. 15 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $159k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
