Recap

There you have it. After racking up 38 points and out-dueling Anthony Richardson and Florida at home, Tennessee QB Hendon Hooker picks up Offensive Player of the Week honors. Meanwhile, Texas A&M’s Antonio Johnson led the team with 13 tackles as A&M took down top-10 Arkansas to help get their season back on track.

It’ll be a showcase of two true freshman playmakers in Oxford this weekend when Ole Miss hosts Kentucky. Because Wildcat receiver Barion Brown and Rebel running back Quinshon Judkins earned Freshmen of the Week honors for their standout plays on offense this past weekend. Brown especially broke free for some explosive scores, including a 70-yard touchdown.

Of course, Alabama and Georgia were represented despite playing in pretty ho-hum games. Bulldog kicker Jack Podlesny was the special teamer of the week for not missing a kick vs. Kent State. While ‘Bama’s pass rushing nightmare Will Anderson accumulated 33 yards in tackles for loss. That’s pretty good, huh?
