SEC announces TV times, channels for Week 7, including Red River Rivalry
With kickoff two weeks out from Week 7, the Southeastern Conference has announced the scheduling for their games on October 12th.
The SEC released that slate in a release and on social media on Monday.
- Missouri at UMass – 12 p.m. ET on ESPN2
- South Carolina at Alabama – 12 p.m. ET on ABC
- Texas vs. Oklahoma – 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC
- Mississippi State at Georgia – 4:15 p.m. ET on SEC Network
- Florida at Tennessee – 7 p.m. ET on ESPN
- Ole Miss at LSU – 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC
- Vanderbilt at Kentucky – 7:45 p.m. ET on SEC Network
Arkansas, Auburn, and Texas A&M will all be on their first byes during that week.
The Red River Rivalry’s debut in the SEC highlights the league’s schedule on that Saturday. Both Texas and Oklahoma are in the Top-20 of the AP Poll ahead of that matchup in Dallas. The Longhorns have been better so far this season as a top-five team nationally, including two weeks in the top slot, and just earned their first victory in the conference. The Sooners settled themselves in the standings by winning at Auburn last weekend after a loss to Tennessee the weekend prior. Now, one of the best rivalries in all of college football will kickoff now as part of the Southeastern Conference rather than in the Big 12.
Texas vs. Oklahoma will be the major game of a three-slot stretch on ABC. It’ll start with Alabama hosting South Carolina before Ole Miss goes to LSU that night.
