Green Bay Packers fans aren’t going to like the initial Thursday injury report. Some big names sat out practice again — including their quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers continues to nurse a toe injury, which kept him out of practice for the second straight day. Wide receiver Allen Lazard didn’t participate due to a shoulder and left tackle David Bakhtiari continues to work his way back from a torn ACL. It also sounds like running back Aaron Jones isn’t going to practice or play this week due to a knee injury.

In better news, Davante Adams was a full participant.

Packers vs. Vikings injury report

Did not participate — T David Bakhtiari (knee), RB Aaron Jones (knee), WR Allen Lazard (shoulder), TE Marcedes Lewis (non-injury/resting veteran), QB Aaron Rodgers (toe), WR Malik Taylor (abdomen)

Rodgers doesn’t expect to miss this week’s game against Minnesota, but another missed practice isn’t a good sign. He apparently suffered the injury in quarantine, but wouldn’t say how it happened during his latest appearance on The Pat McAfee Show this week.

Lazard and Jones are two other big names to be listed as DNPs. Jones is the face of the running game and Lazard is one of Rodgers’ go-to targets. Those are two big names to watch as Sunday’s game gets closer, but it’s unlikely that Jones will play.

Limited participants — LB Rashan Gary (elbow), DL Kingsley Keke (concussion), CB Kevin King (groin/shoulder), S Darnell Savage (ankle), WR Marques Valdes-Scantling (hip)

Savage was a new name to show up on the injury report as he deals with an ankle injury. He has 32 total tackles and an interception this year, but this isn’t the first time he’s appeared on an injury report. His addition is certainly something to monitor.

Valdes-Scantling also wasn’t listed yesterday and was limited with a hip injury. That’s not the news you want to hear considering Lazard didn’t practice. However, there is some good news in the Green Bay wide receiver room.

Full participants — WR Davante Adams (shoulder), TE Dominique Dafney (hamstring), WR Equanimeous St. Brown (ankle), CB Eric Stokes (knee/thumb)

The best news from the Packers’ Thursday injury report was getting Adams back to full participation. He was estimated to be limited in Wednesday’s walk-through, but was back in full on Thursday. Even if Rodgers can’t play due to the toe injury, having Adams back is essential for the offense.

Kickoff between Green Bay and Minnesota is coming up Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
