Around 30 programs have offered Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood four-star athlete Jordan Crutchfield. He continues to work towards a decision and now has six at the top of his list.

The two-way star tells On3 that Auburn, Florida State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami and Mississippi State are his top schools.

Crutchfield is the No. 399 overall prospect and No. 23 ATH in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 60 player in Florida.

Thus far, the 6-foot-2.5, 195-pounder has announced official visit dates with both the Wildcats and Cardinals. He’s set to take his OV to Lexington on the weekend of June 6 and will then return to the Bluegrass the following weekend for his OV with Louisville. The rivals are currently battling for the edge in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

“I have a great relationship with coach (Chris) Collins at Kentucky. He makes me feel like family. I had a great visit up there, it is a good atmosphere and I like how everything is compact and close together around the campus,” Crutchfield said of UK when speaking with On3’s Chad Simmons in March.

“Coach (Steve) Ellis at Louisville is great,” he added. “He is great, I like the staff a lot and they have been consistently producing good defensive backs. I the facilities and the education they offer too.”

Crutchfield took a string of spring visits, including multiple to Coral Gables in March. Miami is just over 100 miles from Fort Pierce and the Canes’ defensive coaches are pushing hard for the blue-chipper. He told CaneSport at the end of March that he was eyeing a summer commitment.

“What plays a big role in me committing is if my family agrees to it, have a good culture, have good education programs because at the end of the day you have to have something to fall back on once football is done,” Crutchfield told On3’s Stephen Wagner. “And who can really develop me as a player mentally and physically and as a person.”

As a junior for Westwood, Crutchfield made an impact on both sides of the ball. He collected 30 total tackles and a pair of interceptions while also catching 25 passes for 495 yards and five touchdowns, per MaxPreps.

It’ll be an ACC-SEC battle moving forward for the Sunshine State athlete. Official visits will likely play a major role if a decision does indeed come before he begins his senior season this fall.
