For much of the recruiting process, it’s been impossible to get a handle on where four-star interior offensive lineman Neto Umeozulu of Allen, Texas, will end up.

Things have gotten even more complicated, according to On3’s Gerry Hamilton.

Hamilton said sources have told him that Neto Umeozulu is expected to be at Baylor on Thursday for an unofficial visit. Umeozulu was expected to host Texas assistant coaches on Thursday for an in-home visit. But that likely won’t take place because Umeozulu is in Waco, Texas.

Hamilton also reported the new coaching staff at TCU is expected to host Neto Umeozulu this weekend. It’s unclear at this point if the visit would be an official visit or not.

Who leads for Neto Umeozulu?

Neto Umeozulu has already used four of his official visits – Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas and USC. The Longhorns, Crimson Tide, Trojans and Sooners have been the teams presumed at the top of Umeozulu’s list. But the Bears and Horned Frogs could also become major players down the stretch if the visits go well.

Neto Umeozulu ranks as the N0. 95 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the No. 8 interior offensive lineman and the 19th-best player in Texas.

On3 ranks Neto Umeozulu a little bit higher than the industry.

Umeozulu ranks by On3 as the No. 65 player overall, the fifth-best interior offensive lineman and the No. 16 player in the Lone Star State.

A rare three-year starter for state powerhouse Allen, Neto Umeozulu began attracting the attention of college recruiters nationwide as just a sophomore.

He was the district offensive lineman of the year as a junior. Umeozulu also participates in track and field, throwing the shot put for his high school.

Neto is of Nigerian heritage. He has a younger brother, Zina, two years behind him in school, who has already started earning scholarship offers as well. Umeozulu is coached at Allen by former Arkansas head coach Chad Morris. Morris believes Neto could play tackle or guard in college at an elite level.
