Tom Brady enters NIL space, announces 10 athletes as faces of his brand
Tom Brady is a highly successful NFL quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the field, but he’s also trying to be successful in other avenues when not playing. Working on his brand image away from football, the quarterback has announced that he’s entering the Name, Image and Likeness space and signing 10 athletes to his “BRADY” apparel brand.
According to an article from Business of College Sports, Brady has signed nine current college players and one recently drafted professional athlete to be the faces of his apparel brand’s inaugural campaign, which is scheduled to debut Jan. 12.
Brady’s brand image team includes: Henry Davis of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Andrew Fenty of Michigan tennis, Jack St. Ivany of Boston College hockey, Grayson McCall of Coastal Carolina football, Cade McNamara of Michigan football, George Pickens of Georgia football, Julian Reese of Maryland basketball, Jermaine Samuels of Villanova basketball, Shedeur Sanders of Jackson State football and Patrick Zahraj of UCLA tennis.
“Having these ten athletes represent our first BRADY campaign is really special,” Brady said. “They are hardworking and driven players in the early stages of their careers and each one of them embodies the spirit and ethos in which our brand was founded.”
While Brady is a co-founder of BRADY, the apparel line also includes co-founders Jens Grede and Dao-Yi Chow. The brand was first announced back in September. BRADY’s first line will launch Jan. 12 on bradybrand.com and will also be available in select Nordstrom stores starting Jan. 19.
Tom Brady makes touchdown pass No. 700 a memorable one
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won on Sunday with an overtime touchdown pass from Tom Brady, giving him 700 career touchdowns after the game-winner. The Buccaneers beat the Buffalo Bills in overtime 33-27, improving to 10-3 on the season and now just a half-game behind the Arizona Cardinals.
Brady now has 617 regular-season touchdown passes along with 83 postseason touchdowns, making him the first quarterback ever to reach the 700 milestone.
Tampa Bay outscored the Bills in the first half 24-3, only to see them return the favor by outscoring them 24-3 in the second half to tie the game. As Tampa Bay improves to second place in the NFC, the Bills fall to 7-6 on the season in the middle of the playoff bubble pack. If the playoffs were to begin today, Buffalo would be the No. 7 seed.
