Taylor Bol Bowen sets Florida State official visit; "I probably won't use all five visits"
Taylor Bol Bowen is the 2023 On3 Consensus No. 37 ranked player. The 6-foot-9 had a standout year for Wolfeboro (NH) Brewster Academy and has attracted a lot of attention so far on Nike’s EYBL Circuit
“I’m a very versatile player,” Bol Bowen told On3. “I can do a lot of different things on the court. I am just a ball player. I’ve worked a lot with my jump shot and handle; I can get to my spots better now. I watch a lot of players in college and the league and try to take from anyone 6-foot-8 or 6-foot-9, lanky, and athletic.”
“I’ve planned a visit to Florida State in a week and a half,” Bol Bowen said. “Then I have an official visit planned for Iowa. I think I may take one more junior year official after these two. I probably won’t use all five. visits”
Bol Bowen talks recruitment
Florida State: “Coach (Leonard) Hamilton has shown a lot of love. That has been my biggest thing, getting recruitment from the top guy. I think what they have to offer will prepare me, and they have had a lot of guys similar to me.”
Iowa: “I saw what Keegan Murray and the Murray twins did there. I think I can emulate what he did this season and do something similar.”
“I’m not really sure who will get that other visit right now,” Bol Bowen said. “My main focus is just getting down to Florida State and working on getting better.”

“I plan on committing after AAU ends,” Bol Bowen said. “I really want to spend my senior season working on getting better. no matter what program I go to, they will all have the tools and the facilities. What I need is to find a program where I can play, and I can just go and be me.
“I want to go to a school that allows me to play my game and fits what I do.”

Taylor Bol Bowen is a lengthy and athletic forward. He is an elite-level defensive player, able to slide his feet on the perimeter and switch down to guard on the block.
