Westfield, Indiana – Everyone loves breakout performers, sleepers prospects, and underrated players. Anytime you put a collection of thousands of players under one roof, you will find some sleepers. The Under Armour Circuit is no different.

You won’t find any of these guys in any rankings, yet, but here are the sleepers On3 found during session one.

6-5 2023 SG Shey Eberwein

Texas Impact 4:13 / The Woodlands (TX) High

Shey Eberwein first caught my eye with an explosive put-back dunk which he crashed from the weak-side in traffic and reversed the dunk with two hands. It was possibly the most notable highlight I saw on Saturday. After locking in closer to Eberwein’s game, you saw a player with range extending to 28-30-feet and someone who could attack a closeout and finish above the rim. He finished the game with 14 points and a win, but he is firmly on the radar to monitor moving forward.

Offers: Loyola-Chicago

6-3 2023 CG Katraleus Aldridge

All Arkansas Red / Topeka (KS) Highland Park High

The swagger pops immediately for Katraleus Aldridge. A lefty, he was comfortable on the ball, both initiating the offense or creating from the wing. He has a shifty handle, with a great pace/change of directions and a quick burst. His All Arkansas Red team lined Aldridge up all over the floor throughout the game. He made plays from the high post and in the dunker spot against a zone. Aldridge has high-level pop, there is a defensive upside, and the capability to create offense. He made three threes in the first game we watched of him.

6-10 2023 PF Carey Booth

KC Run GMC / Greenwood Village (CO) Cherry Creek High

Just watching Carey Booth, he is like a baby deer at this point. You can see the majestic glimpses of what he could be, but it is intertwined with some ‘what are you doing’ moments. This is the type of big you pay close attention to. The skill that never wavered was his motor. Booth finished with multiple chase-down blocks and out-of-area rebounds in our initial game with him. The intrigue comes in that he also knocked down five threes. Now, he fell in love with the three-ball and took a couple bad ones. He scored either on lob plays or over his left shoulder the few times he went to the block. He is still a bit raw; there is clear upside here. This sleeper should be recruited as a top 150 type player.

Offers: Picked up offers from Marquette, Northwestern, Iowa, Oklahoma State, Cal, and Wake Forest since this weekend. Had Minnesota, San Francisco, and Georgetown coming in.

6-6 2024 SG Rodney Brown

West Coast Elite / Temecula (CA) Rancho Christian School

There is a smooth nature to Rodney Brown’s game. He is a high-level to elite shooter with deep range and the utmost confidence off the catch, for starters. He has excellent length with a projectable frame. Brown is a good passer with ideal vision from the wing. He will need strength, but he is only a sophomore. WCE program director Ryan Silver likened Brown to Allen Crabbe. In the two games we watched, Brown knocked down a combined nine threes and averaged 19 points. He will be in the conversations surrounding our 2024 rankings when we expand past 25.
