This week, TMZ Sports caught Florida Gators legend and ESPN analyst Tim Tebow at the airport in Los Angeles to get his thoughts on Tom Brady’s gigantic deal with Fox Sports.

Tebow, who is going on his 10th season of covering football at the collegiate and pro level, said he won’t be handing out advice when Brady finally hangs up his cleats. In fact, he believes it’s more likely that he’ll be the one asking the seven-time Super Bowl questions.

“He’ll be amazing,” Tebow told TMZ. “He’ll be so good at it. He’s got so much knowledge and he’s such a good guy and kind guy. And, he knows the game too well. He’ll be amazing.”

Although there have been mixed reports on the final sum of Brady’s deal with Fox Sports, he’s still going to become the highest-paid broadcaster when he retires. Figures reported have been between $200 million and $350 million over 10 years.

Tom Brady has come a long way in terms of openness and visibility since leaving the New England Patriots. He now creates posts for social media regularly, giving fans a small taste of how he might be as a broadcaster.

Netflix announces Tom Brady roast, new partnership

Tom Brady almost retired after the 2021 season, but the 44-year-old quarterback is back and more visible than ever. The formerly closed-off Super Bowl Champ-turned-social media jokester is on ESPN with his Man in the Arena series, he’s in a movie, 80 for Brady, he’s going to be joining FoxSports and now, he’s even teaming up with Netflix.

Brady’s production company, 199 Productions, is part of a team putting together Netflix’s Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROATS. As part of the deal, the former Michigan star and Patriots legend will be the show’s first roast victim. His episode will record next offseason, after the 2022 season. The streaming service did not reveal who could show up to burn the Tampa Bay Bucs quarterback.

Netflix announced the move with a release titled: “Netflix to Roast Gisele Bündchen’s Husband, Tom Brady.”

“To quote my good friend, Marshawn Lynch … ‘I’m just here so I won’t get fined,’” said Brady in a statement following the news.

“We can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast,” Robbie Praw, Netflix vice president of stand-up and comedy formats, said. “In all seriousness, it’s a huge thrill to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project. No one’s better at taking hits and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a breeze for Brady.”
