The On3 Impact 300 ranks the best players in college football entering the 2022 season, with a full release coming in the next few weeks. Prior to the release of the inaugural list – which also factors into the calculation of On3’s NIL Valuation – On3 has revealed the top 10 returning running backs.

Texas standout Bijan Robinson leads the pack heading into his third season with the Longhorns. After a 703-yard performance in 2020, he ran for 1,127 in 2022, adding 15 total touchdowns as well.

These are the 10 most impactful running backs with less than three months until the 2022 season kicks off.

On3 Impact 300’s Top 10 Running Backs

1. Bijan Robinson, Texas

Bijan Robinson is among the few running backs to make the early Heisman watch list for 2022. Averaging more than 100 rushing yards per game, Robinson has a career-high of 216 rushing yards in a single game, posted versus TCU last season. He is the only running back in the Impact 300’s top 10, coming in at No. 10 overall. Robinson has an NIL value of $1.2 million, which is 13th in the NIL 100 rankings.

2. Jahmyr Gibbs, Alabama

After transferring to Alabama from Georgia Tech as the nation’s top running back transfer prospect, Jahmyr Gibbs looks poised to take the reins from Brian Robinson. He rushed for 746 yards in 2022, adding another 470 catching passes. His NIL value is currently $632,000.

3. TreVeyon Henderson, Ohio State

TreVeyon Henderson returns for Ohio State after a 1,248-yard season in 2021. He averaged 6.82 yards per carry with 19 touchdowns and another 312 yards receiving. The Buckeye’s NIL value sits at $708,000.

4. Deuce Vaughn, Kansas State

After averaging 106 rushing yards per game in 2021, Chris Rodriguez enters a big season for his draft stock in 2022. He finished 12th last year in rushing with 1,379 yards and nine scores. Unlike others on the list, Rodriguez isn’t as active as a receiver for the Wildcats. His NIL value is currently $381,000.

6. Devon Achane, Texas A&M

With Isaiah Spiller off to the NFL, running back Devon Achane can fully shine for the Aggies in 2022. He had 910 rushing yards last season while splitting carries. He has an NIL value of $452,000.

7. Tank Bigsby, Auburn

Tank Bigsby broke 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career last season and will likely do it again for Auburn in 2022. On top of 1,099 rushing yards, he had 10 scores and 184 yards receiving. Bigsby’s NIL value is $546,000 ahead of the 2022 season.

8. Zach Evans, Ole Miss

Second only to Gibbs, Zach Evans was a massive transfer portal land for Lane Kiffin and the Rebels. The former five-star averaged 7.0 yards per carry for TCU last season, despite only rushing 92 times for 648 yards. His NIL is currently $395,000.

9. Braelon Allen, Wisconsin

Wisconsin youngster Braelon Allen led the Power Five with 4.5 yards after contact per attempt last season and dominates at 6-foot-2 and 238 pounds. He totaled 1,268 rushing yards with 12 touchdowns as a freshman for the Badgers. His NIL value is $403,000.
