Tuscaloosa (Ala.) Northridge offensive tackle Wilkin Formby is ready to make his college commitment.

The No. 9 offensive tackle in the country announced Wednesday that he will commit next Monday, June 20, and will choose between Alabama, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.

The 6-foot-7, 300-pounder has made official visits to three of the four programs. And he was scheduled to see Tennessee on June 24. However, that now looks unlikely depending on what school earns his commitment.

Formby is a Tuscaloosa native and has visited the Crimson Tide more than any other school. However, it’s Ole Miss currently leading in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). It gives the Rebels a 75.3 percent chance of securing his commitment.

He visited Ole Miss in April, before taking trips to Oklahoma (June 3) and Alabama (June 10) over the past two weekends.

Formby is the No. 90 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Wilkin Formby Scouting Summary

“A tackle prospect who can bend, move and strike at a high level with an elite frame. Prototype build for an offensive tackle. Verified 6-foot-7.5, 302 pounds with close to a 7-foot wing-span at Under Armour’s Atlanta camp prior to his senior season. Plays with strong balance and body control for his size. Shows excellent spatial awareness in pass pro and initiates contact consistently with his length. Has surprisingly good bend and hips for his size, allowing him to gain leverage with ease and bolstering his ability to anchor once engaged. Will only continue to improve once he is in a collegiate strength and conditioning program that will help him develop more explosiveness and functional power.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Recruiting and Rankings
