Mableton (Ga.) Pebblebrook three-star cornerback Tyler Scott released his top seven schools on Wednesday night. The list includes Alabama, Auburn, Louisville, Michigan, Tennessee, Texas and USC.

Scott is the No. 607 overall prospect and No. 61 cornerback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 54 player in Georgia.

On3 rates Scott higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Even though he is not ranked in the 2023 On300, Scott is ranked as the No. 49 cornerback and No. 51 player in Georgia.

What to know about Scott’s recruitment

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound defensive back took an official visit to Auburn on Oct. 28. Officials to Alabama (Nov. 25), Texas (Nov. 11) and USC (Dec. 9) are currently scheduled.

“Everything was amazing,” Scott told Jeffrey Lee of Auburn Live about his official visit to the Tigers. “I felt welcomed. It felt like I could play here and come here, make a difference and turn the program around.”

Scott took unofficial visits to Louisville and Tennessee on Oct. 22 and Oct. 15, respectively. He has yet to visit Michigan.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a very close race for his commitment. Auburn currently has the lead at 51.8%, while Tennessee is just behind the Tigers at 40.1%

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Scott has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.3K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
