12:24 p.m.Texas A&M safety signee Bryce Anderson was taking some reps at QB for Team Legends. He may get some work as a wildcat QB in the game. Anderson is a top sprinter and former HS QB, so it shouldn’t be a huge transition. – Charles Power

12:26 p.m. Spoke with Team Legends DBs coach Don Cox. The first player Cox brought up in our conversation was future USC Trojan Zion Branch. Cox said that Branch is the “real deal” and that he’ll just need to put on a few more pounds before getting to the next level.

Told me that Texas A&M signee Denver Harris is the “total package.” Praised him for his athleticism and how he plays the ball. Only thing Harris will need to work on is relying a little more on his fundamentals instead of his athleticism, but Cox says he has everything a team looking for in a corner. If he relies more on those fundamentals, Cox believes he’ll be an “instant starter” with the Aggies.

As for top-ranked safety Jacoby Mathews, Cox described him as a natural. Said that a team will be able to play him anywhere in the secondary and that Matthews’ versatility is what stood out to him. – Joseph Hastings
