Under Armour Future 50 Recruiting Intel at Hotel Check-In

Some of the country’s best 2023 and 2024 prospects will descend on Bradenton, Florida, this weekend for the Under Armour Future 50.

The event is the last big national showcase of the summer. Future 50 annually showcases top prospects who are set to play in the Under Armour All-America Game after the season. The action spans two days with the on-field portion taking place on Saturday. The event includes individual position drills, 1-on-1’s and 7-on-7 games.

While the drill work and games don’t start until Saturday, the first day of the event is ripe with recruiting intel. 3:15 p.m. ET: 2024 four-star DL David Stone will visit Michigan State on July 26. Florida and Oklahoma are both working to get him on campus on July 27. He’s trying to decide which visit to take. Stone is an Oklahoma native. — Jeremy Johnson, National Recruiting Analyst

3:07 p.m. ET: Four-star Hickory (N.C.) EDGE Rico Walker is announcing his commitment on Monday, he tells me. Says his decision is made and that he’s been feeling this school for 4-5 months. North Carolina, Maryland and Tennessee are in his top three. — Chad Simmons, On3 Director of Recruiting

2:51 p.m. ET: Prized Arlington (Texas) Martin four-star safety Javien Toviano tells me that he’s considering an unofficial visit to LSU at the end of this month. That’s the plan right now. — Sam Spiegelman, National Recruiting Analyst

2:42 p.m. ET: Top-40 safety Joenel Aguero is set to commit next Saturday, but says he made up his mind two days ago. — Jeremy Johnson, National Recruiting Analyst

2:38 p.m. ET: Four-star LSU safety commit Ryan Yaites says he feels the love from Tigers fans, as well as Michigan State fans. 2:12 p.m. ET: Four-star Longview (Texas) wideout Jalen Hale is down to three schools (Alabama, Texas and Georgia), but he says he knows which one he plans to commit to. 2:00 p.m. ET: After a brief break in the action, we’ve got more prospects coming through. Four-star University Lab (La.) Jaiden Ausberry isn’t looking to commit until December, possibly during the Early Signing Period. Took official visits to Auburn, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Texas A&M in June. Plans to take one more official visit, and he’s still in contact with LSU, Florida, and Alabama. — Sam Spiegelman, National Recruiting Analyst

1:37 p.m. ET: Four-star IMG Academy (Fla.) LB Jordan Hall committed to Michigan State back in June. Says the Spartans have continued to recruit him since, and they’ve expressed that they want him to be a leader in this class. — Sam Spiegelman, National Recruiting Analyst

1:26 p.m. ET: Just talked with 2024 St. Frances Academy QB Michael Van Buren. He plans to announce his commitment between the end of his junior season and the spring. Says a lot of quarterbacks in his class are starting to narrow things down. 1:23 p.m. ET: Recent Miami five-star offensive line commit Francis Mauigoa holding court now. Says his commitment to the Hurricanes was based on where he felt he fit the best. 1:19 p.m. ET: Talking now to four-star linebacker Troy Bowles. 12:51 p.m. ET: Miami made a significant move with five-star Desmond Ricks on his visit earlier this summer.

12:46 p.m. ET: Recent Penn State State commit Elliot Washington on why he flipped from Alabama: “Culture, family and just how everything felt when I went up there. The players really introduced me to the coaches well. Everything they said transferred back to how I felt about it.
