CBS Sports releases updated bowl, College Football Playoff projections ahead of Week 13
The final week of the regular season is upon us, with rivalries across college football taking place over the holiday weekend. While the College Football Playoff might be the main focus, some teams are still fighting for bowl eligibility with just one game remaining.
CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm updated his CFP and bowl projections heading into Week 13. If his predictions hold true, two new programs will be playing for a national championship but going up against some traditional blue bloods.

Bowl games will begin on Dec. 16, going all the way through Jan. 9’s national championship game. There will still be some work to do after conference championship weekend but the picture is starting to become clearer.
