College Football Playoff National Championship odds, per Vegas Insider:

Week One Movement

As expected, the national implications of two major top-10 losses in Week 1 play showed up in Las Vegas’ latest odds for the CFP National Championship. After losing to Ohio State to the tune of 21-10, Notre Dame’s odds fell from +4800 to win it all, down to +9600. The win did little to move the Buckeyes’ odds closer to the board leader, the Alabama Crimson Tide. The odds for Ryan Day’s squad went from +304 to +318.

After battling it out with top-10 Utah, the Florida Gators moved from +9700 to +7900. Billy Napier’s team is now No. 10 in the odds to win the national championship and No. 12 in the AP’s latest poll after starting the year unranked. Utah’s odds fell from +5400 to +11400 after the loss. The Gators have another top-25 challenge this week in the Swamp versus Kentucky. The loser of the game is likely to fall off the odds leaderboard.

The No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide takes on the Texas Longhorns in Austin on Saturday. The noon game of the week will either further solidify Bama’s stranglehold on the top spot in the odds or give the Longhorns the boost they need to officially claim that they are “back.”

Other key Week 2 matchups include USC versus Stanford and Tennessee versus Pittsburgh.
