The first team has been eliminated from Omaha, as the Texas Longhorns were sent home out of the losers bracket in the College World Series on Sunday. Now, the odds to win the 2022 College World Series have been updated entering Monday’s slate of games, according to FanDuel.

In the first bracket, Oklahoma is now one win away from advancing to the College World Series championship round. The Sooners are 2-0 thus far, while Notre Dame and Texas A&M must now face off in an elimination game. Whichever team wins that game – which is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Tuesday – will then have to beat Oklahoma twice to stave off elimination.

The first half of the bracket got into action on Friday, with Oklahoma defeating Texas A&M 13-8 to kick things off. Notre Dame also took down Texas on Friday. On Sunday, the Aggies defeated Texas 10-2 to send the Longhorns home, while the Sooners remained in the winners bracket with a 6-2 victory over the Irish.

In the second bracket, Arkansas and Ole Miss are set to face off in the winners bracket contest on Monday. The winner will join Oklahoma in being one win away from advancing to the title round, while the loser will have to come out of the losers bracket. Stanford and Auburn will face off on Monday afternoon in an elimination game at 2 p.m. ET.

Arkansas started off hot on Saturday, completely dismantling Stanford with a 17-2 victory. Ole Miss then beat Auburn 5-1 in the nightcap. The Rebels and Razorbacks face off at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, and the winner’s odds to win the College World Series will surely increase.

The opening round of the College World Series is played in a traditional regional format, as it is double elimination. Whichever two teams emerge out of each bracket will meet in the championship round, where they will face off in a best of three series to determine this season’s national champion.
