Biggest Movers

Baylor Bears (+5). The Bears big defeat of the BYU Cougars helped them move up the rankings more than any other team. According to PFF, offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes’ wide zone offense has come alive in 2021. Baylor has generated a successful play of on 52.2% of zone runs in 2021, per PFF.

NC State Wolfpack (+4). A blowout victory over Boston College was a statement made by the Wolfpack. Moreover, their quarterback Devin Leary has been playing well as NC State is in the midst of a memorable year.

Texas A&M Aggies (+3). The Aggies rushing attack led them to victory against Missouri, as quarterback Zach Calzada was average against the Tigers. Still, he did enough to get the victory.

Oklahoma State Cowboys (+3). The undefeated Cowboys are still relatively low on PFF‘s rankings, but they’re on the move. Following a comeback victory over Texas, Oklahoma State has steadily flown under the radar in 2021.

Iowa Hawkeyes (-4). A rough loss to Purdue sent the Hawkeyes tumbling down the rankings. According to PFF, Iowa’s passing attack was the fourth-least efficient in the entire Power Five last weekend. Evidently, it was their doom against the Boilermakers.

SMU Mustangs (-2). The Mustangs remained undefeated against Navy, but it was too close for PFF‘s liking. Still, they remained undefeated at the end of the day, and are in good shape with quarterback Tanner Mordecai leading the charge.
