Former USC wide receiver Drake London is one of the top receivers in the 2022 NFL Draft class. The big weekend is officially under way and former Trojans wished him well ahead of this weekend’s draft. Check out the video below, where former Trojan stars such as Michael Pittman, Jr., Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Tyler Vaughns sent him well wishes.

Former USC wide receiver Drake London could very well go down as one of the greatest athletes to ever suit up for the Trojans and that’s saying something. While he’s bound for NFL riches very soon in the 2022 NFL Draft, it’s time to pause and appreciate the athletic greatness that London brought to the table. Coming out of Moorpark High School (Moorpark, California) he was a remarkably rare two sport superstar. In the 2019 recruiting class, was a four-star prospect in both basketball and football, something very few athletes can claim in the modern recruiting era.

Drake London put up pretty incredible high school stats

London was an exceptional basketball player coming out of Moorpark High School (Moorpark, California). As a senior, he averaged 29.2 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. It’s not unusual for FBS athletes to be talented in more than one sport, but London was truly elite at two different sports, which is a rare find. As a senior receiver for Moorpark High School, he hauled in 62 catches for 1,089 receiving yards, and 12 touchdown catches.

Before suffering a season-ending ankle injury this season with the USC Trojans, London hauled in 88 catches for 1,084 receiving yards and seven touchdowns catches. He’s expected to be one of the top receivers selected this weekend.

According to the On3 Consensus Rankings, London was rated as the No. 42 wide receiver prospect in America for the 2019 recruiting class.
